New venue for Easter 2017
This year we have been able to run an Easter event in a new venue, a large house at Shatterford lakes, where a great time was had by 6 children we explored the Worcestershire countryside, watched people fishing for the most enormous carp you have ever seen – in the required total silence (a challenge for our group!), made fidget stones, played both indoors and out in the garden, gained a child to the group from the owner at times who thoroughly enjoyed having so many friends to play with who likewise enjoyed her company and practised their social skills with someone outside the group.
Great one to one work with a girl who is the primary carer at home, learning to relax and be herself.
A lovely relaxing supportive experience for children from chaotic backgrounds living with alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence parents in prison and mental health issues.
